Screw-in nipple NW16 - M26 x 1.5
The VDA plug-in nipple for screwing in has a nominal width of 16 (NW16). This means that the inside dimension of the screw-in nipple is 16 mm. Screwing in the nipple enables the M26x1.5 external thread. The thread does not have to be additionally sealed due to the EPDMseal (under the hexagon). The screw-in sockets according to the VDA standard (suitable for NORMAQUICK® PS3) have been established connection solutions in vehicle construction for years. These plug-in systems are used in particular for media-carrying lines in the area of temperature control systems (cooler lines / heating lines), charge air systems and fuel systems. A screw-in nipple (e.g. for threaded connection on the cooler) or, if necessary, a NORMAQUICK® PS3 connector is required as a counterpart for the connector on the media-carrying line.
