Special lengths can be achieved by sliding two suitable tubes together. The simplest application is to use insert tubes: roll the ring seal on the insert tube, push the insert tube as far as necessary into the normal tube, roll the ring seal against the lip / flange of the normal tube.
Now clamp the clamping ring around the sealing ring and the flange of the normal pipe.Please note, this connection is not shock resistant. Permissible differential pressure 100 mbar (1000 mm WG, 10,000 PA).
Push-in pipe connections cannot absorb axial forces. The pipes must be secured on site so that it cannot slip. For horizontally laid piping, a pipe support must be made in the area of the joint to prevent the pipeline from sagging.
Insert tubes used with this Clamping Ring are not telescopic tubes that can be adjusted during operation.
