Information
Flexseal - ICON Pushfit Internal Coupling
The Internal Coupling Pushfit connects pipes with for example plastic, cast and steel pipes with different outer diameters over the inner surface of the pipe, if for a variety of reasons, a normal coupling cannot be used.
The new Pushfit connector is only 52 mm on each side in the pipes to be connected and reduces the pipe cross-section by less than 10%!
It complies with all test criteria of DIN EN 295-4.
The Icon Pushfit range consists of three variations:
- designed to provide straight connections to DN100 and DN150 pipes
- designed to provide adaptor connections when DN100 pipes are connecting to DN150 pipe sizes.
Product Benefits:
- Can be installed in 30 seconds or less
- Quick and easy alternative to standard couplings
- Pushfit connection – no tools required
- Can be removed and re-used
- Watertight connection on any pipe material
- Connects pipes of differing or irregular outside diameters
- No need to expose external surface of pipe
- Pipe stop indicates that the product is properly installed, when it is flush to the pipe end
- Passes pressure tests
- IC150P used on DN150 pipes conforms to shear load performance requirements of EN295
All our Internal Couplings
With our selection of Flexseal Internal Couplings, pipes such as plastic, cast iron and steel pipes with the same inner diameter can be joined quickly and easily, regardless of the outer diameter. They are used when, for various reasons, no normal couplings can be used. This is the case, for example, when a pipe is cut flush, a concrete pipe with a foot or a pipe with a damaged or uneven surface.
Product Benefits:
- Significantly reduces labour time for connecting problem pipes
- Watertight connection on any pipe material
- Connects pipes of differing or irregular outside diameters
- No need to expose external surface of pipe
- Pipe stop indicates that the product is properly installed, when it is flush to the pipe end
- Passes pressure tests
- Provides shear load protection
- The whole range conforms to the requirements of BS EN 295-4:2013
