The protective pipe coupling
NORMACONNECT® FLEX E are axial non-restraint couplings. They are used for connecting metal pipes, stainless pipes, as well as concrete and plastic pipes. Sealing reliability is ensured even when NORMACONNECT® FLEX E pipe couplings are mounted on pipes with or without a gap and also on compensated pipes. With pipe outer diameters of > 180 mm, type FLEX E is suitable for low-pressure applications.

Temperature:
- EPDM: 26.9 – 168.3mm: -30ºC to +125ºC; > 180.0 mm: -20ºC to +80ºC
- NBR: -20ºC to +80ºC (Click here for the NBR version)
- FKM (Optional): -10ºC to +150ºC (sometimes even higher temperatures)

The NORMACONNECT® FLEX E is almost identical to the NORMACONNECT® FLEX. The FLEX E has hollow trunnions containing the bolts, the FLEX has solid trunnions.
